May 24, 2022 Robb Elementary School, Uvalde, TX 19 children and 2 adults died not out in the streets or in a blatantly dangerous environment. These precious babies and teacher heroes died as a result of an AR-15 as they sat in their classrooms. They had just received awards. They had two more days of school left before summer break. They were ambushed and obliterated. In school. This cannot keep happening. Not another parent should have to bury their child. We have to take action now, today, in this moment

Children exposed to violence, crime and abuse are more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol, suffer from depression, anxiety and PTSD, fail or have difficulties in school and sadly engage in criminal activity.
